Hello to all. I came acroos this site thru our Developement Forum here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=251

We were admiring the artwork, and so I thought I would drop in and introduce myself and what we are doing.

I am the creator of a modification for a game called 'Rome Total War', which was released in 2005 and has been heavily modified ever
since. However, I decided to create a modification for the game anyway, even though Sega was about to release Medevil Total War II, simply because I felt that a lot more realism and 'life' could be put into the game.

Since starting this, the MOD called 'Roma Surrectum' has grown in popularity until it basically surpassed all the others, and we are in the later stages of work on Roma Surrectum II....which is graphically far superior to anything ever done for the game. Our goal has been to create graphically beautiful and realistic soldiers of the Classical Era from 217BC-100BC, and battlefield environments that are just getting better and better every day.

We've also added gobs of historical buildings; Rome features 28 Legions with their correct names and numbers, and each Legion is modeled individually from another with different armor, shields and period weapons. Also included are historical 'Auxilia Battalians' and well...a lot more. We tried to do justice to every nation, kingdom, tribe...from the elitest Hellenic unit to the Levy Clubman of the Celts.

So, as a fan of Roman history most of my life....just thought I'd share that.

I agree, the artwork is fantastic and the game mods look promising. I love the game but haven't played this mod. THe music composition/soundtrack is also top notch.

OH and by the way Hello mces0421 :d/

You mentioned you are a History Channel fan as well. Its my favorite channel...or should I say channels as I have two of them. History and History International. History International is far better and more reminisent of what the other history channel was once like. Now on the "older" more mainstream History Channel we have UFO's, Monsters, Lumberjacks and everything else besides history. Although on occasion they will throw in something of interest to the average history lover. Brick wall But I should look at this in a more positive light as I have two History Channels..... Ok its more like 1 and a quarter Whistle
